Dollhouse Stained Glass Windows

Have you ever wanted to add a different window design to the dollhouse Kit you may have purchased? Or, what about those wonderful Houseworks doors & windows that I *know* you have stored away in your stash?

I bought a book titled "Ready-to-Use Dollhouse Stained Glass Windows" by Ed Sibbett Jr. ( Here is the link to purchase http://store.doverpublications.com/0486237400.html )

I picked the ones I wanted to use for my house. After choosing them and scanning them into my computer, I re-sized them and printed the design on a sheet of transparency. I then add clear finger nail polish on the rough side. I color them in by using permanent markers.

Because of copyrights, I cannot send these out but, you should really buy this book as there are so many different patterns you can use. You can then customize them by coloring them in yourself and then make transparencies of them for your own houses.

Here is a shot of a house I used this technique on. Click on the picture to see a bigger shot:

Tracy, thanks for the great tip! I've been wanting a stained glass window for Madame Riaboushka's (or rather she's been wanting one) and now I will be able to make my own. I must have that book! LOL!!

Like doll house windows, people are getting influenced to use the stained window glasses in their houses also. These glasses induce a smart look with privacy.
