After taking a long break (5 years to be exact) I’m back creating miniatures again. 🙂 Dennis Nordman asked me to build his She Shed Kit which is based off of a real life Garden Shed. I’d been posting pictures of the real life one on Facebook for years whenever I found a new picture of it and was so happy to find out Dennis made a kit based off of it. I will blog step by step of my building it next week. For now, you can enjoy this short video I created on YouTube. This will be for sale this coming Fall. Thank you for stopping by! ~ Tracy Topps 🌷💗<br />

Today, I'm posting about this house that I was able to build. This is a bashed (edited) Primrose Cottage dollhouse. It's now for sale on eBay.<br />
<br />
🌷🌷 It’s SOLD🌷🌷<br />
Here's the description<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<span style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">Birds & Butterflies are little creatures you'll see peeping around this cute little cottage!<br /><br />Sometimes, I get so excited about a project when it begins to look like what I saw in my minds eye and this house did not disappoint me. It has been electrified so all of the lights and the outlets work and come on when plugged in (Transformer and lead in wire not included in this auction). The outdoor lamp has pretty red flowers in full bloom with a fluttering butterfly stopping by to taste it's nectar. The flower box under the lower window is also full of flowers.<br /><br />The roof tiles, stones and brick and even the grassy base are all created using creative paperclay. I hand sculpted and then hand painted each and every shingle, stone & brick various colors to create the realistic & fantastical dream cottage you see pictured right here. Many long hours went into creating this house that can be passed down as a family heirloom </span></div>
<div>
<span style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);"><br />I made the Wisteria Vine with delicate flower blooms and realistic leaves with branches just like a real one does. There are over 100 tiny colorful flower petals scattered across the front of the yard. The herringbone brick walkway also add some extra eye candy & charm to this cozy cottage. The upper outside Dormer window was hand created by me and has a cute bird perched there taking in the beauty around it. The upper walls has stucco with exposed brick peeping through. This Cottage is extremely Charming!<br /><br />Moving on to the insides of this cottage, there has been things added to customize and add a touch "charm". The wood floors upstairs were painted white and the lower level floor has a stone pattern that was hand cut by me (not real stone). The walls are stucco and trimmed in white wood and there is 2 hanging light fixtures and 1 outlet on each floor.</span><br />

I was looking at my blog again today and realized I have so many things Ive created over the past few years but have never blogged about it. One of them is a Medieval Castle Tower I made from scratch for a Client of mine. One day she sent me a message asking me what I was working on. At that moment, I wasn't working on anything and had decided to take time off that year to create only things and ideas that had been stuck in my head for years. The idea of a Castle tower thrilled her.<br />
<br />
Her Castle tower was inspired by Rik Pierce's "Norman Castle" class he did at the Tom Bishop show. I saw it the first time I attended the Bishop Miniature show. I was so very excited about it because he told me he had taught it as a class project. The sad part was that I missed out on it but he told me he would do another class the following year.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFEX-DYXggrWjGUAvLT0Zo4qevR9RPBxbsdEwC0_04F9VWk-KPR2XwjAJbQeUhdbj5gNLoLSC42T0t8rmjjKImBVwvNh-NuLpky1lwrc9PLacdksODQVvLnjqZyOE-1WtHsx2UoNhbEc4/s1600/TracyTopps.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFEX-DYXggrWjGUAvLT0Zo4qevR9RPBxbsdEwC0_04F9VWk-KPR2XwjAJbQeUhdbj5gNLoLSC42T0t8rmjjKImBVwvNh-NuLpky1lwrc9PLacdksODQVvLnjqZyOE-1WtHsx2UoNhbEc4/s1600/TracyTopps.JPG" height="320" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
Well, the next Spring, I took the class "Snape's Dungeon". I was hooked on Creative paper clay form that time forward. The problem was, I couldn't keep the Tower out of my head. I sent an email to Rik about it and he sent me pictures of his tower and sold me the casts from it. He told me he had faith that one day I could create my own version of that Castle. Seven years later, I took out that picture and created my version of it. I called it the "Dragon Castle Tower".<br />
<br />
My castle was wider and larger because I wanted more space for my customer to decorate it. I didn't do a Moat or drawbridge. But we were both very pleased with how it turned out. She had a doll artist create several dolls for it and shared pictures of them with me via Facebook last year sometime. Here are the pictures of my Tower. I plan to make another one in the future. There are things I want to change on it.<br />

I was happy I started on it before I had my car accident later that year. Had I waited, It probably wouldn't have been built.<br />

or it will come through the lace and look messy. As you add the lace,
remember to press it so that it adheres to the glue. It should cover
the rough edges so that you can not see them any longer. </b></div>

Dear followers of my blog. It seems that yet another year has gone by without me blogging as I used to. Its mainly because I haven't been able to work as much on my dollhouse miniatures like I used to. I don't finish one big project per month as I used to but the mini bug is still inside of me :)<br />
<br />
last year, I was able to complete two small projects and one large project. This blog is about one small one I finished last year in February.<br />
<br />
I was going stir crazy and needed to work on a mini project. My real life bathroom was being revamped and my home was a mess. I also deal with pain in my upper back arms and right hand. So I started with a small corner yard scene because those of you who follow me know the story of how I LOVE doing yards scenes and why. I used Creative paperclay to create the stucco and stones. I created some of the flowers by hand.<br />
<br />
I had such a fun time doing it!! It's 1" scale and it has grooves in so that a plexiglass covering could be added to it. Before I had a chance to put it up for sale, it sold after posting pictures of it on Facebook. Here is pictures of that scene.<br />

Most of it was complete but, I was working on projects for customers and just set my house aside. <br />
<br />
Last year, I decided to work on it but after the car accident last summer, it just made my other health issues harder to bear and I did mostly nothing. Last week, I was having an extremely good day. Hadn't had one in so long that I dusted my project off took pictures and got busy on it.<br />
<br />
I Love this project because I took it with two of my friends from Greenleaf so we all have this rare class project by Rik. He only taught it for our class and that means there were under 20 of these world wide. Anyway, after a little over a week, the pictures show where I started and where I am at with it right now.<br />
<br />
I hope to be finished sometime next week. I hope you enjoy the pictures and Thank You for viewing my Blog!<br />

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">
<div style="text-align: center;">
What a Wonderful treat I have to share with you today! This gorgeous Rosedale
Dollhouse has been built. Ive been having the desire to build this for a long time because this is a Space
saver! It is 1/2" scale (1/24th Scale, G- Scale, half scale). It's easier to handle because it's smaller. It still took me a while to complete it but it's because I wanted to do more than just paint it.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This Manor
has stucco with exposed brick made from an airdry clay. Three Flower
Boxes and a tree is decorating this yard. Insides are 4 rooms and a full
large attic and a staircase which is painted all white so that the color scheme can be changed up. The size is 13"H x 13"W x 8 1/2" D. It sits on a grassy base with a brick pathway.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
If you have had doubts about trying the Greenleaf halfscale kits, I can tell you this, you won't be disappointed because it has all of the wonderful detailed features that is included in their 1" scale models.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Try them! </div>

I've been doing minis and I've been finishing up several projects (some from years ago that are way past the halfway finished mark). </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">One thing that they all have in common is the fact that they are mostly all castle themed items. I love Castles and Tudor styled cottages so it's been fun to get back to doing some things with that theme. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">A group I belonged to decided to do a summer project. The theme selected was based off of a "Gothic" theme. Each of us had a different idea of what Gothic meant to us, so it was great to see so many projects revealed. Each were so different and unique.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">This Castle Roombox pictured below shows one of the projects I worked on. It was a great way to do something small but still be active with my mini projects. I had so much fun with this project and even decided to dress it up with some items I received from Swaps over the past several years. It is 1" scale and I used an air dry clay on this one to create the stone finish. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">The torch (by Judith Andraka) and fireplace is lit and there is a hole in the floor (between the grout lines) so that a Candle Stand can be hooked up to the electric underneath. It was something I added later on because I like a lot of lights in our Miniature settings.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="294" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0SUzgdWWdBg76XLuQuoDa8PjRAeOqosoqVj1n756MU8JLAfkCxHgimtA42ooc4O5pU8pODkS2K1wKxHpqv8uuqSQEym7Gd2W0Ira5_dYlbhX_UGI9-rTmCLYeS86PfYzHBs8l5qlWOD8/s320/castle1.jpg" width="320" /></div><br />

I was rear ended earlier last week and I its been a literal pain in the neck. I was able to get a little bit further since the last blog post because I had started adding some color to this Cottage the morning of the accident and was only able to add a little more paint color to age the first coats of paint after the accident.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">I had a different color combo in my mind but for some reason, my creative juices choose to change to these colors instead and I must say, I am loving it and has received nothing but Great replies from people who have already seen pictures of it online. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">I used the upgraded roof and door and of course, I did my own editing of the kit too. I still have more paint colors I would like to add. Also, there is still a lot of landscaping that needs to be done. I haven't been able to work on this but I will share the pictures of it as soon as I do. So here is a little "Eye Candy" for you today!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I started on my Spring Fling Dollhouse Kit a few weeks ago and so much has been going on, I still have not completed it. I did want to share this picture of it with you all. I am also building another one but it is not finished yet either.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I have a little more done to this one than it shows in this pictures. I have shingles on the cute house . I Love it!<br />
<br />
I love the size and the design of it. I was so happy that it came with various roof options and different door designs. It makes it so easy to change it up from the basic kit. If you build multiple kits, you can have a different look because you can change the elevation of it by just adding a different upgrade kit to it.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
If you still are on the fence about buying this years Spring Fling dollhouse kit, I say get off the fence and buy one today! You have plenty of time to enter the contest also! This year Greenleaf Dollhouses has extended the deadline for submission. </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
I'll add more pictures when I am able to work on this again. Thank you for stopping by to read my blog!!</div>

You can see Part 1 of this Tutorial by clicking <a href="http://minisontheedge.blogspot.com/2012/05/greeting-card-dollhouse-miniature-gift.html" target="_blank"><u><i><b>HERE</b></i></u></a><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhGZrc4cpXOCcOLWm2Ecl4MMV8fM4EnYKXW8C5Hn63yAw-_wPCm90WNLfcoRASswvxTgdClhnfc5Ud6hTTb-q2sDVGx2fDsd3pshGIL-QjfrHD9kmNSPkGNnt8mMsjtlJC2aLsHdn_-mmI/s1600/DSC00047_3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhGZrc4cpXOCcOLWm2Ecl4MMV8fM4EnYKXW8C5Hn63yAw-_wPCm90WNLfcoRASswvxTgdClhnfc5Ud6hTTb-q2sDVGx2fDsd3pshGIL-QjfrHD9kmNSPkGNnt8mMsjtlJC2aLsHdn_-mmI/s1600/DSC00047_3.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
The Next Step is to get some of your favorite pictures and scan them in and shrink them to fit your miniature card scene. Then print them out on card stock and cut them out. Take your ModPodge and add it to the back of your picture and to a contrasting color of card stock then add the picture centered and then smooth out and add more ModPodge on top like this:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRalP1ls5Aapq9NqqYO9ihhDxj42gxnw-zufaqg7jbOW2BijhZZiIf1yo9Eg7BonON5fTNbZ7zHQ6ZZ1npFoemH8KjnyChocNyCMRzcXMHVISwLL4mwCv0HqhPEzbj1c8JE685f_8RxBw/s1600/DSC00060.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRalP1ls5Aapq9NqqYO9ihhDxj42gxnw-zufaqg7jbOW2BijhZZiIf1yo9Eg7BonON5fTNbZ7zHQ6ZZ1npFoemH8KjnyChocNyCMRzcXMHVISwLL4mwCv0HqhPEzbj1c8JE685f_8RxBw/s320/DSC00060.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjiLSEaHFZ8en0pfXkUjI6fnKUjzExYS-GqQ0_etj3fYDKHJlDdENG7z7QTEzcT_OYEscj1KhEZOxGIP6-lWFgXuJqpMgpN7D70L4z-r7g0QlMoHR4Zy2GgwhG6DBncqvjWk4ZWmpbbsrk/s1600/DSC00061.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjiLSEaHFZ8en0pfXkUjI6fnKUjzExYS-GqQ0_etj3fYDKHJlDdENG7z7QTEzcT_OYEscj1KhEZOxGIP6-lWFgXuJqpMgpN7D70L4z-r7g0QlMoHR4Zy2GgwhG6DBncqvjWk4ZWmpbbsrk/s320/DSC00061.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
when that dries, cut and fold your contrasting color card stock so that it will be the frame and look like this:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
I took several of my favorite pictures. One of my two brothers and I when we were little and a recent one of my Mom and added ModPodge and cut them out. I then glued them directly to the greeting card.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEglM2owVkJniWWJCXivaqyH61t7Tjk-WYgUDmHaNXy8VlyZRQEAFMoQwm8QViBFPr5v8XRisRioefn-368B8p-YWa4bukCBq7HDQDnDiMjh-xhQo07Gc6m_rmJ7O6_6q4tpGx7ipdqp-0s/s1600/DSC00063.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEglM2owVkJniWWJCXivaqyH61t7Tjk-WYgUDmHaNXy8VlyZRQEAFMoQwm8QViBFPr5v8XRisRioefn-368B8p-YWa4bukCBq7HDQDnDiMjh-xhQo07Gc6m_rmJ7O6_6q4tpGx7ipdqp-0s/s1600/DSC00063.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
I Then added my iron fencing and more flowers around it like this:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhGZrc4cpXOCcOLWm2Ecl4MMV8fM4EnYKXW8C5Hn63yAw-_wPCm90WNLfcoRASswvxTgdClhnfc5Ud6hTTb-q2sDVGx2fDsd3pshGIL-QjfrHD9kmNSPkGNnt8mMsjtlJC2aLsHdn_-mmI/s1600/DSC00047_3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhGZrc4cpXOCcOLWm2Ecl4MMV8fM4EnYKXW8C5Hn63yAw-_wPCm90WNLfcoRASswvxTgdClhnfc5Ud6hTTb-q2sDVGx2fDsd3pshGIL-QjfrHD9kmNSPkGNnt8mMsjtlJC2aLsHdn_-mmI/s1600/DSC00047_3.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
I then added leaves to the back of the card around the base:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBLZdNg8tAA1KkpcM95N969spjP0nKglNVIY5L_UFuP9Mt0D9NfjGwb-l89gceHozSd3hPCqp002l2r81aJ02pF_WMF3D9ee6sRvaqMeptsikVoAauzhAu7aa-8IyH1EwWmE3cEXNF3YM/s1600/DSC00039.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBLZdNg8tAA1KkpcM95N969spjP0nKglNVIY5L_UFuP9Mt0D9NfjGwb-l89gceHozSd3hPCqp002l2r81aJ02pF_WMF3D9ee6sRvaqMeptsikVoAauzhAu7aa-8IyH1EwWmE3cEXNF3YM/s1600/DSC00039.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
Here are pictures of other greeting card scenes I have done in the past so don't forget to be imaginative!!<br />

I always look for creative ways to share my love of minis with my friends and family that are not really "into" the dollhouse mini thing. Back in 2008, I decided to start making Greeting card gifts. I had two friends who were pregnant and thought of a great idea. I showed photos of it to others and they began to make them for their family and friends too. A few months ago, I wanted to let my Mom know how much she means to me and I thought the Greeting card gift would be perfect for her. I took pictures this time to share it with you! This is a picture of the finished product you will be making:<br />
<br />

<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Supplies Needed are:<br />

5. sheet moss<br />
6. miniature flowers and leaves<br />
7. Cake pillar<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Take your cardboard and your greeting card and cut the cardboard a little bit bigger than the card. This will become your base.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWqskmZFdmQZ9_-plP3Z3KGx9jODkFMHaopzSLJAHN_8uJhrIj0Ci2JTHjgB2qn1UR5V4FauM5pt89SWxj0GX0L8o35RlCoDBRe6LP-OZNR6cZxHgftNrIlr5gzSp8Yc9n7tU143KKJpI/s1600/DSC00043_2_2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWqskmZFdmQZ9_-plP3Z3KGx9jODkFMHaopzSLJAHN_8uJhrIj0Ci2JTHjgB2qn1UR5V4FauM5pt89SWxj0GX0L8o35RlCoDBRe6LP-OZNR6cZxHgftNrIlr5gzSp8Yc9n7tU143KKJpI/s320/DSC00043_2_2.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Now, put your card aside and take your cardboard and contact paper. Trace around your cardboard base about 1/2" away and around your cardboard base like this:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRATY9Sn06qr1gzF1k9sUTP-IYKfyaFaxC3URekwjUA-2EMmePTXY0SstQX7ijWu-p5LXjt70Qqbf-CtKcqn2wtkXtDa41WDinqJQRmolzlIIRt50tcH19o2Bcp0cGp7qrtsSWR3spinw/s1600/DSC00044.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRATY9Sn06qr1gzF1k9sUTP-IYKfyaFaxC3URekwjUA-2EMmePTXY0SstQX7ijWu-p5LXjt70Qqbf-CtKcqn2wtkXtDa41WDinqJQRmolzlIIRt50tcH19o2Bcp0cGp7qrtsSWR3spinw/s320/DSC00044.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Now, cut along your traced line. Peel off the backing of your contact paper and center your cardboard on it. Press down hard so it will adhere to your base. Now, cut at your corners like this (I drew a line so you can see where I made these cuts) :</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhK57HyH07QnNrhXSpMiQSnyXID0mBjELwZKCQVnQ-GQ65f9PDEsvzvo2JJNqDphBf__fPYdlnl3VEXKItm9omzvqwK148VHoFd2N09BZ6VyxpI10phELyM6tjhVZle1uy_oQry985xa_0/s1600/DSC00045.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhK57HyH07QnNrhXSpMiQSnyXID0mBjELwZKCQVnQ-GQ65f9PDEsvzvo2JJNqDphBf__fPYdlnl3VEXKItm9omzvqwK148VHoFd2N09BZ6VyxpI10phELyM6tjhVZle1uy_oQry985xa_0/s320/DSC00045.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Now, fold it over like this:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqrq7JKJhdLeA3jBoNLQDxJNZVz2Nmegfh4NAjLdmOfxcYPhCLyJP6r26va0Hw4aptpe5jGSCDGiwAWrQnmE9fmd9eqIFBlmzPUyt4cyCWXo6xc9szTV_y_c-VzvJZy9ugCg0I2R3bPEc/s1600/DSC00046.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqrq7JKJhdLeA3jBoNLQDxJNZVz2Nmegfh4NAjLdmOfxcYPhCLyJP6r26va0Hw4aptpe5jGSCDGiwAWrQnmE9fmd9eqIFBlmzPUyt4cyCWXo6xc9szTV_y_c-VzvJZy9ugCg0I2R3bPEc/s320/DSC00046.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
Then this:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgsjUHF_M2x-_ltwRT5-xmdsheNWfB5jSfSIILn-FgVKxhNGSqyA1pdXhveao-0lo3eb89Pi4_cSkzE7hlFOI03EJcsls410cWASBDG8hTd6yX3solph6J-Y3keM0T5sk5gXJDXoq1TOWU/s1600/DSC00047.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgsjUHF_M2x-_ltwRT5-xmdsheNWfB5jSfSIILn-FgVKxhNGSqyA1pdXhveao-0lo3eb89Pi4_cSkzE7hlFOI03EJcsls410cWASBDG8hTd6yX3solph6J-Y3keM0T5sk5gXJDXoq1TOWU/s320/DSC00047.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Cut off these extra edges carefully so that none of the cardboard show. You are only cutting off the excess contact paper so that the ends will look like this:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLCl3ytt-pHBHFG08Iu37s-na2gNMeFN_TW470TlfrTPyh4WFycIQAs9gXymtOYvt1BXIFw-aaOSqNeE35dDzgUFMjBFr0i4grbc3wDs3LPy_cRiPUAl8YMbnYTSi1zZZ-DOW7nvPaisI/s1600/DSC00048.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLCl3ytt-pHBHFG08Iu37s-na2gNMeFN_TW470TlfrTPyh4WFycIQAs9gXymtOYvt1BXIFw-aaOSqNeE35dDzgUFMjBFr0i4grbc3wDs3LPy_cRiPUAl8YMbnYTSi1zZZ-DOW7nvPaisI/s320/DSC00048.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
and the back will look like this:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-9DX9GzaHneTvuVMN_mSnX3JFNTVSvFXcg5pecpGG2YNT4zKT8-YcNKpUGIwLlNtHOLCWgdK3Ii_mvQa_bzN4nr3-LyRVUoKdcXDpa6vZu7PbVXvMzOd8js2wsoFm82BVLf0VIUCxlx0/s1600/DSC00049.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-9DX9GzaHneTvuVMN_mSnX3JFNTVSvFXcg5pecpGG2YNT4zKT8-YcNKpUGIwLlNtHOLCWgdK3Ii_mvQa_bzN4nr3-LyRVUoKdcXDpa6vZu7PbVXvMzOd8js2wsoFm82BVLf0VIUCxlx0/s320/DSC00049.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Now, get your card and hot glue gun. Glue your card on the base like this. Please note that the cardboard should be showing on this side!! Leave some of the base out behind the card. Do not glue it flush to the edge of the base.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEitwr7M4W82bkr-SX25Rmd1Fy7PJlg4auBLo-By7xsLlqvpSTSEid3h5FK2gynOxk1_93ZY8G-wWDibiadXIdEX8w8y2-A9Dbu-9UYUgDg0PWM4nepK1VV_tf5f3UUiRI1KsxJZtwP-aGs/s1600/DSC00050_2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEitwr7M4W82bkr-SX25Rmd1Fy7PJlg4auBLo-By7xsLlqvpSTSEid3h5FK2gynOxk1_93ZY8G-wWDibiadXIdEX8w8y2-A9Dbu-9UYUgDg0PWM4nepK1VV_tf5f3UUiRI1KsxJZtwP-aGs/s320/DSC00050_2.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
Now, take your Hot Glue Gun and add glue to the base like this:<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhA2RgfcaPO6oY6_ZjBkdsSOoap_-RzIyOZbgtYB7qahju4w9puLXEcobngHPYQ636mgxyDKftB30DKN0dCdl5qVJuas4ODuScF8Ix87FHTkoAXk9LedVOYMOtGDTIa_Yy_WEJy8OU2YdI/s1600/DSC00051.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhA2RgfcaPO6oY6_ZjBkdsSOoap_-RzIyOZbgtYB7qahju4w9puLXEcobngHPYQ636mgxyDKftB30DKN0dCdl5qVJuas4ODuScF8Ix87FHTkoAXk9LedVOYMOtGDTIa_Yy_WEJy8OU2YdI/s320/DSC00051.jpg" width="240" /> </a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now add some Moss like this and press down hard so that it will adhere to the glue and base:</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJVNTJKdvyT0E-b0n_SQeu8sbp8Ewm8CnEZsYtE0JhyVnB6ZPVTM63moC2nj6vmPF7xGVtR3TtEF8ZGsO1AWskWp_ClxBewNOpgyniDwOH4JPG22WfRiunPBuVPEgpcWXI1h6eCfoLHY0/s1600/DSC00052.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJVNTJKdvyT0E-b0n_SQeu8sbp8Ewm8CnEZsYtE0JhyVnB6ZPVTM63moC2nj6vmPF7xGVtR3TtEF8ZGsO1AWskWp_ClxBewNOpgyniDwOH4JPG22WfRiunPBuVPEgpcWXI1h6eCfoLHY0/s320/DSC00052.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Continue that step until your entire base is covered like this:</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi1vFfWuis1hiGRknQLKv0B5D3380Dzh97-BuPjPTdCuIa4bHCN2EBO6qb8CHRYoTyzhUcw5l7mic5A2kngSYOTXzKIviq8pa3kzOr9XoXJloFHtFq4bZkt4mIgX-UV6vTm1t9jECi_uFc/s1600/DSC00053_2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi1vFfWuis1hiGRknQLKv0B5D3380Dzh97-BuPjPTdCuIa4bHCN2EBO6qb8CHRYoTyzhUcw5l7mic5A2kngSYOTXzKIviq8pa3kzOr9XoXJloFHtFq4bZkt4mIgX-UV6vTm1t9jECi_uFc/s320/DSC00053_2.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now take your fence (You can also choose not to use fence or you can use a wood picket fence). I had already painted and aged mine but they come in black or white. You want to take some sharp scissors and cut them like this:</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvohbCgxocwUEvyflfP2_m53qqL0fbeTm8uV_HMmyOKh4x432qVWUYt2erMbrsRlPhgSqpUXBTs0FKaggBzRS8thhKfimv-uhwnoVX8PInzzdghWpI9Ng9cX-eLlYEcdMIKRAujlCkC-c/s1600/DSC00054.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvohbCgxocwUEvyflfP2_m53qqL0fbeTm8uV_HMmyOKh4x432qVWUYt2erMbrsRlPhgSqpUXBTs0FKaggBzRS8thhKfimv-uhwnoVX8PInzzdghWpI9Ng9cX-eLlYEcdMIKRAujlCkC-c/s320/DSC00054.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I used only these parts:</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4XAeLJNo0XckomxR5sqTLYjAWzDG6eigfocy-u_y0XCPmpQmWRKtaJarfFzg6Dpi-RJYjr0EfQHAP2NPTdsTCZM74Gclb6e90G-10Zwu5JdPdYvwMQf0rI2-qS7a1aXg6XcGi4oUv-fA/s1600/DSC00055.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4XAeLJNo0XckomxR5sqTLYjAWzDG6eigfocy-u_y0XCPmpQmWRKtaJarfFzg6Dpi-RJYjr0EfQHAP2NPTdsTCZM74Gclb6e90G-10Zwu5JdPdYvwMQf0rI2-qS7a1aXg6XcGi4oUv-fA/s320/DSC00055.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now Take Your Cake Pillar and add a piece of card stock to cover the opening at the top:</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
What a Show! This past Saturday, I had the opportunity to go to one of the greatest Miniature Shows on Earth. It was the <b><a href="http://bishopshow.com/index.html" target="_blank">Tom Bishop's International</a></b> Show 2012 in Chicago. I missed last year's show and was so disappointed because I love to see what new items different artisans have created over the past 12 months for this show.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
It's a Great time for many artisans to show off their talents on so many different categories in miniature. Some make custom lights fixtures, animals, furniture, buildings, flowers, even stained glass and pots and pans.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
What makes this show so unique from the others is the items. You can easily find lights to light your dollhouse, but artisan hand create these lights and they can look so much like a real light fixture in your full sized home, that when you look at the picture, it will have you guessing, "is it real"? Even the animals, carpets, furniture, flowers and houses can just leave you in awe.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Well, I took some pictures but, I am so sorry to say that I got so wrapped up with talking to people that I have only talked to online or friends I haven't seen in years, that I found myself stopped at their table and I forget to take pictures of their wonderful items. I'm sorry about that and promise to do better next time. I was so excited to just be there.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Of course my first stop was to see <b><a href="http://www.frogmorton.com/castles.htm" target="_blank">Rik & Marcia Pierce</a></b>. I learned from Rik how to do the stones in paperclay and have taken several classes over the years with him. I had such fun stopping by and chatting and talking with both Rik and his wife. It's so fun to get a view of her new items. The one below, is incomplete. The insides is not finished. Some of the rooms has not been started on at all and other room are not painted yet.<span style="font-size: 12pt; font-weight: normal;"></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: 12pt; font-weight: normal;">This is of the Dragon Wizard Tower he is creating for one of his Clients. It's stunning!</span></div>

<span style="font-size: 12pt; font-weight: normal;">Next, I saw my friend from the Greenleaf Forum Deana who has gone through a lot in the past year. We talked for about 2 hours straight! It was our first time meeting in person and she is just a sweet and funny & cool lady! Her gorgeous daughter talked to my daughter while her Mom and I talked then I realized we were standing across from <b><a href="http://www.erikgoddard.com/" target="_blank">Erik Goddard's</a></b> table!! I LOVE his stuff! My Favorite was his roombox depiction of Edgar Allen Poe's </span>"The Cask of Amontillado". My Daughter loved his Modern Scenes, it made her think of the Movie "In Time" that came out last year.</div>

Greenleaf Dollhouses announced and revealed their newest annual project for the Sixth Annual Spring Fling Contest! The details are below:<br />
<br />
Greenleaf is proud to announce the start of our Sixth annual Spring Fling Contest! <a class="bbc_url" href="http://www.greenleafdollhouses.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=28583#entry472936" title="">Last years contest</a>
was such fun, we decided to to get back to what Greenleaf is known
for... Afforadibility! We’re getting back to our roots by offering an
ultra-affordable delivered project… <b class="bbc">only $18.95 with FREE SHIPPING ON YOUR ENTIRE ORDER*! </b>Now
how do you like them apples! Speaking of apples, one of the additions
available this year is a cute farm stand just ready to be filled with
mini fruit! Of course, it can be used for many other purposes just like
the other available options, but all are meant to change the feel of the
kit and not necessarily make it a bigger project, so they aren’t
necessary to compete. I’d like to point out that a lot of these
accessories would look great on a variety of other Greenleaf dollhouses,
so here’s your chance to pick them up at a substantial saving! I'm
also happy to announce that the ever popular prize category called "luck
of the draw", which is a randomly selected winner, will be returning
this year. Also, time is not of essence because <b class="bbc">we are extending the contest until September 3, 2012 (Labor Day)!</b><br />
<br />
As usual, we are making it extra interesting; <b class="bbc">we're going to name this new dollhouse after the winner! </b>That's
right, we'll rename it after you… it's your chance to be forever
immortalized as part of the Greenleaf product line. Now how cool is
that?<br />
<br />
In a nutshell, just submit a picture of a scene with your project that
must include the base house and you might win one of these great prizes
below. The best news is that Greenleaf has put together a special deal
on the <b class="bbc">Base Project kit for $18.95 with FREE SHIPPING on your entire order*</b> (more details below)! So join us in the fun as we celebrate the seasons!<br />
<br />

originality.<br />

I've had a Roombox for a little while and decided to create a dollhouse scene. I started on it last week and it turned into this wonderful scene here. <br />
<br />
It's 1" scale and is now available for purchase. If you are interested, please feel free to email me. I'll also be listing it this weekend so that it will get more exposure. <br />
<br />
All stones were hand sculpted and hand painted by. I created the table stand with lit candles. The torch by the door was created by Judith Andraka. The floors were also created by me. The outside of this box is real wood. Here are some pictures. Thank you for stopping by and viewing my blog! I'm using the blogger app to post this from my iPad so, if the format is a little off, please forgive me :0)<br />

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">
<div style="text-align: center;">
I am just about finished working on a Village Shoppe for a client of mine. I am so excited about it because this was a project that I turned out loving at the end. My customer wanted a sage green house with dark green trim and she wanted dark wood on the insides. She mentioned she wanted the house to have siding and brown stucco and at first, in my minds eye, I could see this house, even before it was built!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I assembled the house pretty quickly. When I moved on to the outsides of it, I found myself stuck and no longer feeling the house. I was a little bit ill this past fall up until about November or so of last year and though I worked on this house slowly, I still could not really get into the house.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I even thought about refunding the down payment because I did not think I'd ever finish this house. I know when I don't "feel" the house, it's all downhill after that. Last month (Actually, the end of January, I was sitting in front of the TV and looking at my work island at this house and saw right away what my problem was! My customer wanted a sage green house. Do you know how many SHADES there are of sage green? I had 7 samples on my island. I finally picked one and found I still was NOT happy with it. I also did not like the dark brown I used for the stucco. That is when I decided it was time for me to mix paint again to create my own blend of paint. Once I did that, I was amazed how changing the shades of paint (even though just a little bit) made this house more pleasing to my eyes and I was able to finish this house more quickly. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The paint color to the left of the screen is the color this house originally was. The top too dark and the bottom too light. The right side shows the color I changed it to: </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBnYtIyr8fGfaMfuNqG0BxdLGCASzkNC6TleKq3dDasxQwXG9AbBnAC5lcad6Tw6ISH9WKoXyFFHx0B6cBIcDTR1X4LIo5YSELtVxYWLwPjxJ-jwtweCN106aj3gbSi_Jn7EToSh8mRsM/s1600/DSC00103.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBnYtIyr8fGfaMfuNqG0BxdLGCASzkNC6TleKq3dDasxQwXG9AbBnAC5lcad6Tw6ISH9WKoXyFFHx0B6cBIcDTR1X4LIo5YSELtVxYWLwPjxJ-jwtweCN106aj3gbSi_Jn7EToSh8mRsM/s320/DSC00103.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The best part was, not only was I happy with the color but my client was too and that made me feel Wonderful inside! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The next time you fall out of LOVE with a project, it may not be the "house" itself. It just may be something as simple as the color of your paint!</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
I just completed another Shadowbox scene this month and this time, I used a brick design. This is a wonderful way to remember the
engaging look and ambiance that summer climbing roses in bloom can bring
to a garden! There are handmade roses (2 different shades of pink) in
the climbing rosebush. Most of my dollhouse collectables have a charming
"old world" feel to it. This piece I just finished is no exception.
There is moss growing along the stones and brick. It's an exceptional
looking item to add to your collection especially if you have limited space in your home.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
The stones and brick were
hand sculpted by me "free style" without use of molds. I then painted
each and every stone & brick and pillars to simulate the look of
what you would see in nature. If you purchased this scene, I am sure you
will be as happy with it as my many other customers has been with their
items.<br />
<br />
The size is of this 1" scale item is 9" W x 3" D x 12" H<br />
<br />
This
display Box (Shadowbox) scene has a glass front. You can hang it on
your wall or you can sit it on a table. Either way, you will enjoy
viewing this item and I am sure it will bring a warm smile to your face
every time you view it.<br />
<br />
This piece would be a Fabulous surprise
gift for a dollhouse collector or can be great for a person who is not a
dollhouse or miniature collector because you can display it anywhere in
your home or office and it is a great conversation piece. Please see my
other listings here on etsy to see other items created by me. This item has a glass front. </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
I haven't blogged all this year but I have been busy making Dollhouse Minis! I made a cute Vignette scene this month. We have had a very mild winter considering I live in the midwest but, it's not warm enough for me to enjoy flowers yet so I had the urge to create a scene with summer flowers blooming.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I have this item (plus others) for sale on my <b><a href="http://www.etsy.com/listing/92450635/heart-arbor-with-blue-white-flower-vine" target="_blank">etsy shop</a> </b> I made a 1" scale Heart arbor scene that you can display on your table top or desk or anywhere you'd like to add a splash of color and enjoy your miniatures!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
It's a full vine with over 40 blue and white flower blooms in the climbing vine
that is covering this arbor. There is even a bird hiding in this vine.
The bricks were all hand sculpted by me "free style" without use of molds. I
then painted each and every brick to simulate the look of what you would
see in real life. If you purchased this scene, I am sure you will be as
happy with it as my many other customers are with their items. The size
is of this 1" scale item is 11" W x 8 1/2" D x 9" H </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

The 1st two I built (pictured below) I did without even having directions. I only had the schematics . I was just starting out so believe me, this is a simple kit to buildッ. There weren't even pictures of it on the box because they were left overs from a mail order company and they offered to give them to me and I knew I just wanted the kits no matter what (back when I started working for Greenleaf). Greenleaf never directly sold these to the public themselves so this is a GREAT offer and your kits will be new in the box!<br />
<br />
I built these while I was still learning to build as a hobby ッ</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
I am adding the last touches to my latest Courtyard roombox setting and I just wanted to share it with you all because this roombox style has been discontinued for years and I only have a few. The scenes I create in my last few are each different and unique. I am not taking custom orders because I am working with the stash I have on hand. This is one of those pieces that is simply gorgeous!! It would be the perfect conversation piece and there is still room for you to add some of your own special unique touches to it. I do NOT use Stamps or Molds. Each stone and brick was hand sculpted and hand painted by me. I have learned from the King of this technique (Rik Pierce) himself who teaches his students how to do this free hand. Much time and imagination has gone into this creation to make it into this special item you see here.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
It will be for sell in my CDHM shop and you don't want to wait and let it to get away!! There are over 40 handmade roses in the climbing rosebush alone! Their are 3 different shades of pink roses on this bush to simulate a touch of nature.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The fountain with water sprouting from it, is just so beautiful and has an aged verdigris hand painted effect. The entry way has massive pillars with fierce looking protectors guarding the entry. The flower box is full of flowers in shades of pink, white and purple. The window has a spiders web "lead glass" looking insert.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
All I have to add are the butterflies and birds to this Wonderful scene. Can't you just picture yourself enjoying the scene in this Beautiful rose Courtyard?! The Working hanging coach light has also been aged a green verdigris color. If you purchased this scene, I am sure you will be happy with it.</div>

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">
I have loved creating dollhouse miniature scenes in shadowboxes or room box settings for years. I am almost finished with the Brimbles that I started on this summer and sometimes, when my creativity is overcharged, I do other small projects along the way and I find so much enjoyment creating a setting in a roombox or shadowbox.<br />
<br />
I have been excited to share with you all the new display box creations I have been making. I have tried to fit a lot of the elements that I would normally put in my dollhouses, in these miniature scenes and I try and leave enough space so that the buyer can add their own things to each scene.<br />
<br />
These are perfect for the person who don't have a lot of space in their homes for dollhouses. I have even sold a few to people who are not miniature collectors at all but just love art.<br />
<br />
I have a three pictorial sneak peeks of one that will be available soon for sale. It's unpainted in these shots but, you can see <i>some</i> of the cool elements added to this scene. <br />
